On April 10th, Jewel-Osco presented Cookin’ Combo Sweepstakes Winner Doris Jackson with a $5,000 check for a year’s worth of free groceries. The Cookin’ Combo Sweepstakes, a part of “A Taste of Black History” program, provided an opportunity for Jewel-Osco shoppers to enter their favorite dish paired with a Jewel-Osco African American vendor product to win the grand prize – free groceries for a year. Doris’ entered the sweepstakes at the Jewel-Osco located at 87 West 87th Street. Her winning combo was macaroni cheese with Glory’s collard greens!
